Our Optometrist: Dr. Dean Garnett
Doctor of Optometry
Bachelor Medical Science (Honours)
After completing his thesis in a novel treatment for age-related macular degeneration, Dean pursued a career in optometry. He has a keen interest in children's vision, glaucoma and dry eye.
He completed his clinical training at The University of Melbourne and interned in Canada. He has since undertaken further training in behavioural optometry.
Dean consults for the Optometry Council of Australia and New Zealand and regularly participates in research projects.
He volunteers as a Director's First alumnus with the Royal Flying Doctors Service Victorian Chapter.
Jacinda
Jacinda is our optical assistant, and is the smiling face you will most likely see when you visit.
Bringing vibrant energy and impeccable style to our little patch of eyewea heaven, Jacinda is a renowned local, and is trained in frame selection and can answer your questions about lenses and other optical questions.
